Try Latin-American Sauerkraut: CURTIDO. Don’t like sauerkraut but want to benefits of fermented foods? Try Curtido!
It’s a Latin American sauerkraut with a different flavor profile than plain sauerkraut.
It is so good that I love eating it plain by the bowlful.
This recipe is from Sally Fallon’s book “Nourishing Traditions” and includes carrots, onions, oregano and red chili flakes.
